We’ve been eating here for 3 days in a row (working remotely we needed a cozy and quiet place to stay at). The food is amazing, the staff super friendly and super nice and the price are way lower than other restaurants nearby! Curries are around 180-190Rs, rice 150-180Rs, omelette are less than 35Rs. We’re glad we could find this restaurant, super recommended :)
We’re staying in India for 3 weeks and we’ve been eating here everyday. The food & the energy of the place are amazing. My favourite dishes so far have been the vegetable chow mein, chicken coconut curry, lemon cheesecake, chocolate mouse and the vegan breakfast. They also have great masala chai! Just a little reminder to be patient with the staff because at times it can get busy and they are truly working so hard and doing the best they can!
Very friendly proprietor. I had a tasty ginger drink. Lovely, breezy space with a Ganga view. Very clean. Didn't have the food, but I didn't see any French pastries in the pastry case. wifi was not working when I visited. I'd go again in a different season when they're set up to accommodate more people.
That's a very nice and friendly place... Food is good and people working there are very pleasent... Kindness and smiles made us happy and confortable... Also from the roof top you can see Ganga and the skyline of Varanasi.... ❤... I keep lovely memories from Aadha Aadha
If you're missing the west, go there.
The food is nothing like Indian food, I had the worst Palak Paneer in my life, even worse than in Europe.
The sauce was just blended spinach without any taste, no spices, no salt, very insipid. The good part was that when I asked them to make it more tasteful they actually added some spices and oil and it was more acceptable.
The rice was super weird, not the typical one you usually find.
The soft drinks are really small, like around 125ml bottles.
We also waited more than half an hour for the food.
If you pay by card they'll charge 5% more btw.
PROs:
Otherwise the atmosphere is nice, has a nice view and free wifi but quite slow.
Also they have vegan options and plant based milk.
It’s no surprise this is the number 1 restaurant in varanasi on trip advisor! The food is delicious, definitely get a vegan breakfast even if you’re not vegan! And the staff are so great you’ll want to hang out there with them all day - the French guy with long hair is more like an old friend than a waiter! The restaurant itself is very comfy, has a great feel and atmosphere - also incredible views of the Ganges! The wifi makes it a nice spot to work from too. Hopefully we’ll make it back there again one day soon
Sitio muy cómodo, comida variada y rica bien de precio, el wifi funciona bastante bien. Repetimos los dos días que estuvimos en Varanasi!
