Disappointing. Came here to do some work and school. The wifi is weird and wonky, letting me connect to some websites, and not to others that are commonly used and safe. Drink was a little pricey for what it was. Overall, if you need to get some work done here, maybe consider somewhere else until they fix their wifi issues or turn their unreasonable firewall off, if that's the case.
Nice, new cafe. They have working area, wifi, and a range of drinks. I ordered a matcha which was really good. I wish they had a better chai. But other than that it was a great experience.
The wifi doesn't work, which is a big problem for a coffee shop set up for laptop work, IMO. The coffee is fine and the service is nice, but I expected to be able to work there. Also most of the seating is right by the door, which opens straight out to the cold and bangs shut, which I found disruptive.
Came here to get some work done. Coffee was great and and so was the food!
I feel like I could write a love letter to Ancient Grounds, haha. This coffee shop is the right place for anything, and that’s rare to find all in one stop.
You could sit here to get work done. Good music for ambiance, you could take a call and it wouldn’t be disruptive but it’s not so loud that it’s distracting. Plenty of outlets and lots of tables to sit at near the front with natural light.
You could sit for a while to eat or enjoy a coffee flight with a friend. The decor and exposed brick are beautiful and there are delicious food and drink options. You can chat without worrying about being too loud because there is a good mix of people working and people chatting. There are blinds you can lower on the front windows for sunny days.
You could grab food or coffee to go. People were in an out quickly, met with friendly service that doesn’t rush you to make a decision and offer any advice if needed. The food/drinks are good enough that I’d stop in here even if I couldn’t stay.
I got the Cinnamon Toast Crunch latte, iced, and it was absolutely delicious. I’m not a huge sweet coffee person so I was hesitant but it was actually just the right amount, not overwhelmingly sugary at all. I would definitely order again. The mustard in the ham sandwich hit just the tight note.
When it’s not really busy, the baristas bring drinks and food to the table which is really nice. They were so friendly, patient, and helpful. I was in the area for an appointment and needed to get some work done afterwards and so glad it brought me here. I can’t wait to come back!
Great warm and welcoming place. Got to stay for a bit and so many people just relaxing and enjoying themselves. Excellent crew working and so many options to try.
really nice place to sit and do some work solo or catch up with a friend!
