Really great unique place to have coffee and to get work done.
Good but no wifi here which I think is pretty crazy
Love this little corner spot! Coffee is good and you can choose from a variety of beans. The staff are really friendly too so it's nice to have a chat with them. Pretty small joint, only about 10 seats. No wifi here unfortunately!
Macadamia nut milk (Australia's Own) houjicha latte - 3.5 stars
I appreciated that they offered macadamia nut milk - I haven't seen it anywhere else (besides maybe Oriole, which does a MAD mylk). Unfortunately that meant I didn't have a good reference point. They use Matchaya houjicha powder. Compared to the houjicha lattes I've had at Matchaya, this had a lingering bitter taste. That was with 10g brown sugar in it. I asked them to add about a teaspooon more of sugar (and I always get my coffees/matcha/houjicha lattes without any sugar) and it was still too bitter.
Soy milk (Bonsoy) houjicha latte - 4 stars
Really appreciated that after they asked and I said the macadamia nut houjicha latte was very bitter, they made another drink. I use Bonsoy at home all the time so this was a better reference point for me. They added 10g of brown sugar as well and this was too sweet for me (since I don't usually add sugar). I would get the Bonsoy houjicha the next time and ask for no added sugar.
Would come back to try their espresso lattes.
They use Oatly oat milk here.
Tables are small, with limited seating. Cosy atmosphere. Don't think there's wifi.
