I popped in out of curiosity and ended up having one of the best coffee experiences I’ve ever had. The barista was working alone and the place was quite busy, but he stayed calm, was super attentive, and helped me choose with patience.
I tried two coffees — one more acidic and one more bitter — and both were excellent, full of flavor, and very well prepared. He also explained the filter options, which made me excited to come back and try more.
It’s impressive to see someone serving so many people with such care and kindness. A place where the coffee is great, but the service really makes the difference.
Today I was served by a young man who was working alone at the café — yet he was very attentive, kind, and efficient. He managed to serve everyone patiently, kept the place organized, and still delivered everything with great quality.
Kudos to him for his professionalism and dedication! 👏
On the other hand, I’d like to criticize the management a bit: it’s unfair and inefficient to have just one person doing everything — taking orders, preparing drinks, cleaning, and handling payments. This puts too much pressure on the employee and can affect the service during busy hours.
It would be great to see his hard work recognized and for the company to improve staffing and working conditions.
Cozy place for a quick cup of coffee.
They have a sustainable edible take away cup.
Batch brew coffee was well balanced.
My brother ordered a hot chocolate that he didn't like, but I tried it and it was okay.
It was almost full by the time we got there.
Few people catching up, and few others working.
Urban and creative environment with very nice staff. Excellent coffee and tea (with a pot). The perfect place with electrical outlet - if you need to work on your laptop or load your mobile phone. Recommend warmly.
We found the Minimum Waste by chance when we were walking through the old town of Prague in search of a drink. The coffee shop had a clean, innovative and fresh look that invited us to linger.
There were people working on laptops, families with children and people having a great time all around. The shop is also very pet friendly!
You can easily order using the QR code on site and have your order delivered. We drank both hot and cold drinks and were very satisfied with both. The taste was great and the price was more than fair.
The staff were super friendly and very helpful, they gave us a few tips for Prague along the way. I was even able to borrow a charging cable for my iPhone without any problems.
As a result, we went to the Minimum Waste once a day to plan our other tours and enjoy our time there.
We will definitely be back if we end up in Prague again.
Finally a commercial project that builds on the idea, that single-use packaging is evil. :) Also, it is a very nice place, like a cafe, or co-working space.
I love the concept of this place. It means literally no waste. I love the coffee. I love the idea behind the cup the girls working here are so professional and I love the atmosphere.
The cappuccino I had there was one of the best I had during my stay in Prague. Rich, full-bodied, and perfectly brewed – it's clear they take their coffee seriously here. If you're a coffee lover, this spot should definitely be on your list.
This sustainable coffee shop in Prague stands out for its mission and approach, the ambiance is peaceful and spacious, making it a great place if you want to get some work done on your laptop.
Overall, I wouldn’t say the interior is particularly memorable or Instagram-worthy – it's more functional than fashionable. It's simple and clean, which fits with their sustainable ethos, but it might not be the place for those looking to snap the perfect café shot, in my opinion.
One thing to note is that there are no outdoor seating options, so if you’re hoping to enjoy your coffee outside, you’ll need to sit inside or take it to go. Inside, it’s calm and quiet, a good spot if you need to focus, though the atmosphere doesn’t have much of that cozy coffee shop vibe you might find elsewhere. But if I wanted to get some work done and drink a great coffee, I would definitely choose this coffee shop.
A small downside for me was the way the coffee was served. They use these handle-less cups, which, while cute and minimalist, made it a bit tricky to drink as the coffee was really hot. It’s a minor thing, but it did make me wish for a more user friendly cup with a handle.
All in all, I admire this place for its mission and the quality of its coffee. If you’re in Prague and care about sustainability – or just want an excellent cup of coffee – it’s worth a visit.
Great place with good coffee! Their staff are friendly and welcoming 🙌🏼 The cafe atmosphere is also really good and it’s laptop friendly 👍🏼 I love their idea of trying to be eco friendly as much as possible. Recommend visiting it if you want to have cofffee in city centre! It’s kinda hidden gem.
I love the coffee and food at minimum waste. It is a great place to do work on your laptop and the prices are very reasonable.
Comunque decisamente caro.
Very cozy place, nice design. But it was inconvenient for me to work at my laptop. very small tables and hard chairs with almost no backs. There are very few seats at all. The cafe is not ergonomic. It's also quite hot inside. The coffee is mediocre, not bad, not good.
