About
Camelot Cafe in Krakow offers a unique blend of history, art, and hospitality. Spanning three rooms, one with a window table that lets you feel as though you're dining on stage, the cafe is steeped in early twentieth-century history, once serving as a favorite pleasure house for local artists. Later, it became a film set for iconic Polish movies such as 'Awantura o Basię.' Today, the mediaeval cellars and upper floors host theatrical performances, concerts, and recitals. The cafe also displays a fascinating collection of naïve art, including letters signed by Polish King Sigismund August and paintings by Nikifor Krynicki. This fusion of historical heritage, artistic spirit, and warm atmosphere makes Camelot Cafe a special destination in Krakow.

I found this cafe while looking for a place to work on my laptop for a couple of hours. Cozy interior, lots of seating, and good service. Food wasn't bad, but wasn't amazing either (I ordered an omelette). There is wifi. Note that this cafe is CASH ONLY. I didn't have any cash but the waitress kindly told me where to find the nearest atm.
Atmosphere, service, food, prices, and wifi! All excellent!!
The cafe is beautiful, full of places that look good in the pictures on social media. The first floor was not working, although it seems to me that it looks even better than the first floor. The coffee was good, the food was not necessarily to my taste. I ate pierogi with cheese and potatoes. It's worth a visit if you're passing through the old town.
Great atmosphere. Very busy. Staff working so hard.
Cool cafe, relaxing vibes, the decoration is what makes this shop, though.
I've seen only a few cafes like this in the European cities I've visited.
Another strong point is the location and the balcony view.
Coffee was definitely NOT good. It was burned, both were. The rest made up for it.
Service was slow but ok it was working out. It's not like Krakow is famous for its service (you probably know what I'm talking about).
The ladies working in this pretty little café were particularly sweet and welcoming, in stark contrast to the cold demeanour of other, less gentle types in surrounding bars. You can take your time to relax in the warm lighting and relaxing ambiance Camelot has to offer.
The food is hearty and of quality, even the warm chocolate cake, served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream comes with a generous portion of sliced fruit. Prices are fair for such a central and touristic location.
Highly recommended.
