The music was a little weird with explicit lyrics, and the wifi was extremely slow, but without considering it the coffee was good, the ambience nice and a lot of lovely cats
My favorite place in Zagreb to have coffee with the bonus of petting the cats. Absolutely lovely ambiance. Lots of fun, sweet alcoholic and non-alcholic drinks with interesting names. Many seatings indoors and outdoors. The wifi works well indoors but not the area outside downstairs. I've visited many times and the staffs are always attentive and friendly. There are many board games to play. And you will need to ask the staff for it.
Not to mention the kittens are all rescued. They were around 11 or 12 roaming around.
They only take cash.
Beautiful and delicious drinks, cutesy decor, friendly staff, wifi, and best of all, adorable cats everywhere - you couldn't ask for more. It's a popular spot so make sure you make a reservation ahead of time if you want a guaranteed seat!
I definitely don't recommend going when they are busy. We waited a very, very long time to order and got stuck sitting inside on a beautiful weather day. The caffe was extremely understaffed and the girls working there were evidently exhausted, barely getting a moment to drink water or check in on customers. My drink looked awesome, but the taste was mediocre.
Otherwise, the caffe is nicely decorated, the wifi is good, and the cats seem very happy. The staff were kind and apologetic, so I'm sure if we had gone on a less busy day we would have had a better experience.
nice and cozy. the staff is friendly, cats are lovely! wifi good freppe perfect
It has cats around the bar, and the sometimes approach to you. In general they are resting or playing with all the furnitures for cats that they have in the bar.
It has a terrace also with a net for the cats not to scape.
The menu is considerably big of drinks, coffees teas... Don't miss the galactic capuccino, which is amazing.
Good wifi and a lot of games to play there.
Lokal nije imao wifi.
The lady working was very helpful and you could see she loves the cats. Cappuccino was great especially with the cat face on the foam. The cats are very friendly and playful. This is the best cat cafe I have been too and it’s a must if you love cats.
As a lot of people we were drawn by the fact they have a lot of cats living there, so we have decided to go and visit. Other thing that makes them popular are hot chocolates, and there they have reached the expectation - they were very good.
Surprise was that they have board games you can use and play while there (as a boardgame fan, that is a big plus).
But the biggest praise goes to the waitress - she was great! Even though working with a lot of people (it was full), she still aproached everybody with honest smile and answered every question nicely - great job!
Cozy atmosphere, with tables that were quite close together, especially on the terrace. However, the ones inside were more spaced out, which may be a better option for those who value their privacy. The cats in the cafe were absolutely gorgeous, and it was evident that they were well taken care of and loved by the staff. The cafe had an extensive selection of drinks, including hot and cold beverages, as well as cat-themed cocktails, which was a fun touch. In addition, the cafe had a selection of table-top games and cards that patrons could play, making it a great spot to spend time with friends or family. However, the service was slow due to the high popularity of the cafe, and it seemed that there were not enough staff members working. Definitely a unique and enjoyable experience for cat lovers, if you don't mind the crowd.
Tasty coffee with adorable cats (of course), but you’re not allowed to pet the cats???
I know, I know. That doesn’t make sense, right? That can’t be true - it’s a cat cafe! But this is the reason I say this:
After finishing my Meow-chiato, I headed over to the cat tree. There was a sign on it in Croatian which I assumed said something along the lines of, “Don’t pet/wake up/bother sleeping cats!” Of course! Everybody knows that. Well, there was a cutie who was fully awake on the cat tree and asking to be stroked. I obliged and he was loving it, and so was I!
Not even 30 seconds later, a worker comes over to me, whispers something to me in Croatian and points at the sign. I look up and see the entire, fully seated cafe looking at me aghast as if I’d just broken some sacred rule.
After being at dozens, maybe hundreds of cat cafes, all of which you can freely interact with the cats as long as you are respectful of them, I consider myself a cat cafe connoisseur. I’m even in the process of opening one myself. I have never known a cat cafe to not permit you to pet a cat, particularly a pleasant one who would like to be pet.
So... since the cat was obviously NOT sleeping and I had not broken any obvious rule, THAT is why I can only assume patrons are not permitted to pet the cats. I immediately walked out the door after my interaction with the worker, very disappointed after working up enough excitement to have walked an hour to have some lovely coffee (which, granted, it was) and have some quality kitty time (which, apparently, is not allowed).
Hence my 2 star rating.
Such a sweet place. So many cats. 🐈 Would be nice if you could order also cakes or anything sweet. It's suitable for working or studying too.
Rude staff. It seems like they don’t even want customers. Very nice cats though. They can’t help the human working there was at the wrong place.
