Big coffee house with a beautiful interior. The coffee was good, the cookie was even better. Service was fast but they only had one working toilet for such a big place so the queue was long.
Still a corporate mass produced generic franchise based chain but as far as these go, this location is pretty nice for a coffee and a sitdown with a laptop
Nice cafe, but wifi doesn’t work at all. It does work in other Espresso House in Oslo though.
Rather disappointed despite the good chessecake 🤐 prices are OK, but the service was not so great : not very friendly / helpful staff. The wifi was not working and the toilets were closed. No solid solutions was proposed...
Otherwise nice space to work from, fair prices and cosy atmosphere. The snacks are good too. Recommend the caramel chocolate chessecake
Fantastische Atmosphäre für Arbeit am laptop!
Loved this place. Why? Because it was open during Christmas which is a rare thing in Olso.
It was warm and welcoming. We sat comfortably in a sofa enjoying a very good Chai tea.
Of course, it's a bit crowded but honestly it doesn't really impact you much while in there because it's easy to just get comfortable and stay in a cozy little bubble, happily ignoring the world.
It's a chain so don't expect anything magical or unusual.
Prices are good (for Oslo) and wifi is solid.
The place with the worst service I experienced in Oslo. The barista who worked on Thursday 10/26/23 in the afternoon should stop working with people because such an approach towards customers is not acceptable. Normally, we drink coffee every day both at this location and at other EH in Oslo. There are often crowds and long queues, and we have a lot of understanding for people who work under pressure. This time it wasn't like that and it wasn't crowded at all. And her approach was unacceptable and extremely rude. I don't know that we will be back here.
I love the design of that Espresso House. There is are a first and a second floor so it's quite spacious. The prices are reasonable, the wifi is good, the lattes are delicious, and the teas are HUGE ! The maids are not the most sympathic ones but they're ok !
Very veeery bad service! Especially from this one barista who is pretty rude to customers when giving out drinks. Doesn’t want to answer any of the questions, perhaps repeat a bit more louder the name the drink he just made, no smile, rude, and overall looks like he doesn’t even like working here…
Hopefully it changes on the better asap, this happens every time with the exact same guy (barista). :)
The cafe is very lovely though, the atmosphere and the location is amazing! ❤️
Good servings coupled with great quality. Cozy ambience and free wifi.
First of all, all the baristas working here couldn't even manage a smile and a hello to the customers. The one who took my order didn't ask if I wanted they receipt, not if I wanted my pie warm or cold (got it cold witch sucks), and also gave me the wrong drink.. witch I had waited on for 8 minutes after the first one in my order came ...
Great coffee, sandwiches, cakes and the wifi is great as well
Really nice, kind and hard-working staff ❤️
Terrible wifi quality!
Ordered a cafe latte! It was pure milk didn't taste coffee inside and the working area was super dirty! Not again
My first visit and I totally loved it! Excellent Bacon/Cheese-Egg muffin, good and fresh bread! Beautiful ladies + service. wifi didnt work for me.
It is a "Starbucks" of the Scandinavian countries. If you ask me, better than Starbucks, definitely 😉
Also nice sweets and some small sandwiches, cozy atmosphere for talk with friends or work on your laptop.
Pros: Good coffee. Awesome croissant. Nice place.
Cons: Norwegian Prices (TM). Terrible wifi. No toilet paper!! 😂
On the plus side, the wifi from Continental Hotel works great here.
Bad smell inside. No spoons, no fork (for my cake), coffee in a paper cup (asked for real cup, answer: close in 30 minutes), paper box for cake, wifi unconnectable).
Flat, low flavor, too acid Americano (my instant coffee in morning was by far better).
Cake was not too sugary but undefinable taste.
