The coffee selection includes beans from countries such as Costa Rica, Burundi, Colombia, Honduras, and El Salvador. The cafe places great emphasis on traceability through Seedtrace, enabling guests to see the exact country, region, and farm where their coffee was grown. Espressolab uses innovative preparation methods, notably the Therma-Freeze technique, in which beans are flash-frozen at –30 °C, preserving freshness, aroma, and intensity. This results in a clearer, more complex, and fuller-bodied cup, especially for rare and specialty beans. The range includes Turkish coffee and custom tasting sets, providing a rich and distinctive coffee experience.

I’ve been coming to Espresso Lab almost every day during my month long stay in Istanbul, and it truly became a second home for me. The staff and managers always remembered me and welcomed me with warmth and a smile, they have made me feel like more than just a paying customer. I ordered coffee and worked on my laptop almost daily, and every visit reminded me why I kept coming back. This branch will always have a special place in my heart unlike any other cafe in taksim. Thank you for making my time here so special it truly was more than just coffee, it was home away from home.
Everything is good, just the wifi is super slow I received internet between 500kbps to 5mbps only it's not stable, not only 1day or two more than week that I was there almost daily always the same problem unfortunately
They said they had wifi but then it turns out it only works if you can receive a text from a Turkish number. So after paying for a super overpriced coffee, I had to go to another coffee shop to work.
The coffee shop aspect of this establishment, takes a backseat position to the actual use of this large amount of space.
So bring your laptop and chip away a few hours, it can be a very productive work environment.
Not much of a revolution, just peeps and staff focused on individual distractions.
Tolles modernes Cafe, super Kaffee und leckere Kuchen 😋. Viele laptop/Smartphone Arbeitsplätze 👍

Absolutely loved my experience at Espresso Lab in Istanbul! The atmosphere is cozy and modern — perfect for both relaxing and working.
A special shoutout to Ali and Ahmed — they were incredibly friendly and made me feel welcome from the moment I walked in. Their passion for great coffee really shows. My espresso was rich, smooth, and perfectly crafted.
Highly recommend this place to any coffee lover in Istanbul. Great vibe, great service, and amazing coffee!

My favorite place to work in turkey 💙
Amazing food and stuff
But I struggle with the wifi as registering is not that smooth
Is a good place in Istanbul to take a break, relax and enjoy coffee. Also the place is so huge, with a 2nd floor and good decoration. wifi is good for work and the place isn't noicy. Finally I find a better quality coffee and place to work remotely better than Starbucks. Prices same as Starbucks, flavours awesome. Good coffee quality. Good coffee chain in Turkey
The coffee was good, the place is spacious and nice. Is good place for have coffee while do some works with your laptop.
Amazing coffee place that stays open till 1:00 am! Great coffee and helpful staff. Very spacious, and perfect for groups, meetings, or even working. Dedicated tables with power outlets are also available. They have outdoors and indoors spaces (smoking and non smoking). Highly recommended.
Coffee was good, but lots of people smoking downstairs (right in front of the no smoking signs) and the whole place smelled like smoke. We know enough about second hand smoke today that smokers shouldn’t make everyone else smoke with them. Also wifi didn’t work even after a bunch of staff tried to help.
Excellent coffee joint, similar to Starbucks but MUCH better!! I especially love their flat whites.
This particular joint has a full floor (1st floor) as a co-working space. You can bring your laptop and work for hours with little distractions, while enjoying the great coffee and ambience
This is the first time my wife and I try this coffee shop. This place has a smoking section right at entrance of but it was too hot as the ceiling fans weren’t turned on. This is a huge coffee shop with a second floor designed as a workplace with many different work stations. I saw many young people working and studying there. The coffee and latte we ordered were very good.
I had Turkish tea and it tastes amazing. It’s not because the taste is because the environment in here is very clean and healthy people are friendly. I mean the staff working here and the customers were very polite and chatty and smiling
Service slow , 25 min for a burned espresso and a croissants. 6 people were working at the coffee desk . How can they warm up a butter croissant so much that you cannot hold in your hand …. Manager should stay more in control of his baristas
My main go-to place near sishane!
Perfect for people who want to work on their laptop for a few hours.
Good coffee, great ambience for working but bad wifi.
I came here to work but couldn't because the wifi speed was less than 100 kbps. I think it was because of lot of people connected to the same wifi.
You can find meeting rooms and work benches here but generally the meeting rooms are full and you might have to wait for hours until it gets empty.
Good view of Bosphoros for the rear exit.
Ideal place to work on your laptop.
When you go to Istanbul you go for the history and authenticity.
This place is different! It's has such a cool vibe! It's mainly working place. With a cafe.
The only place where you can get normal 12-16oz of black tea for takeaway.
Pumpkin spice and cappuccino are the best too!
this place really surprised me. it looks like a coffee shop, but it's actually a big hangout and co-working place. you get coffee from the first floor. it's like the usual typical Starbucks or Costa coffee and then you go and have a seat.
the first floor is a little bit more like lounge with music and people walking around and having seats and coffee. while the second floor, it's much more like co-working space with less music and a lot of people keeping silence. you can sit by the windows and watch the boulevard from the top.
In almost a decade and dozens of countries of working remotely, this is probably the best cafe that I have encountered for the purposes of sitting around with a computer and working. It is gigantic, comfortable, open for like seventeen straight hours, not more expensive than any other place for tourists, and you can spend the whole say inside and no one cares how many drinks you're consuming. It's fantastic and an absolute no-brainer if you have to work remotely from Istanbul. Just, please, add a couple of toilets. The top floor can easily sit fifty people and there is a single small toilet per gender, meaning that you often have to wait when you have to go to the bathroom.
Ein schönes Café Konzert, beliebt bei jungen Leuten, viele arbeiten mit ihren laptop ,s .
Die Vielfalt an Cafés ist beeindruckend. Natürlich auch leckere Kleinigkeiten.
love it, nice place for getting drinks and something to eat and also to study/work
But the wifi doesn't work
İts the best cafe in istiklal caddesi i think, especially if you want to stay for a while and work or read, service and cafe quality is so good. İt has a great scenery from the backdoor in upper floor, don't miss it. And private working room good for having online meetings or study group plan if you are an early bird.
Coffee was terrible, staff is talking among them too much, to connect the wifi you need to make a huge effort which doesn’t make any sense. Atmosphere and tables are comfortable to work but, considering other points I will definitely avoid it next time.
Honestly, the size of this place blew my mind. Upstairs could go for a coworking space, with plenty of desks and even two meeting rooms. wifi works for 2 hours, then you need to log in again (which can take a few minutes), but is otherwise stable and fast. Enjoyed working here very much!
good place to kill some time before the flight, nice coffee, co0-working space with the plugs.
Cool place and great concept, but some details are frustrating. Not every place is comfortable and wifi didn't work at all which was a huge bummer. Coffee was good.
