Came here in the early morning to work. The wifi was fast and the coffee was good. This is a small spot and they don't want you to use your laptop in the front of the shop. In the back of the shop they have plenty of outlets and you can feel free to use them. I didn't get any food but they have a small assortment of pastries. Place is cute.
Staff is unfriendly and unprofessional. As we walk in all the tables was occupied - we ask how long approximately they said 40min. We decided to give a try and waited less than 7min. After we sit two more tables left and continues flow of new costumers. They didn’t clean the table after they sit us so during order we ask someone to clean, lady wasn’t happy for request. If you’re having busy days at work and you don’t want to work - stay at home. Some other places struggle with new costumers. 4 staff behind the till, two of them with the phones, one making coffee and one taking orders. Only one lady I must say was a bit friendlier than others. Would we go back? Definitely, Lovely cozy place, Great food, coffee tasted great. But not for the service, management really need to look at this - how staff is unfriendly. Considering how busy place is great and will be such a shame costumers stop to come because of service.
Oat cappuccino was okay, not the best. V cosy vibe though and staff friendly . Good place to come and do work
Very clean and well presented cafe. The front of house work very well together, proactive and hard working, keeping the place tidy and clean. Top marks to the front of house staff.
Coffee was excellent.
On the downsides:
- cafe gets very stuffy and warm from the midway point of the cafe to the back. It seems like the heat from the kitchen is being drawn into the main part of the cafe. When moderately warm outside (17 degrees C) it was not pleasant to sit at the tables near the kitchen.
- food service was very slow. We visited on a Sunday at 1130 for coffee and breakfast sandwiches for 4 people. Cafe was about half-full. When ordering we were advised it would be a 30 min wait for food. In the end it took 45 mins. The menu is fairly straightforward and not complex, so we felt the wait time for food was excessive.
Overall, for us, the downsides sadly outweigh the positives when there is a lot of choice for other places to visit nearby.
I really Dug this cafe and it’s design. Those working were humble and really nice and friendly :-)
