Favorite place to hang around, to work on my laptop or just to have a freinds meet with a cup of coffee and read a nice book. Love it!
Very nice cosy place with amazing cheesecake (6 lev but it's massive!), free wifi and a nice warm atmosphere for a wintery day
Quiet, charming location, air conditioning, wifi. Perfect for tea and cake 🍰
Cozy book café with great coffee and wide choice of books. The place has a chill jazz vibe, friendly customer service and most importantly fast and free wifi.
Very nice and cosy atmosphere. Perfect for reading, working or quietly talking with your friends. It’s not as loud as crowded as other coffee shops in that area. The food offers are not much but it is a coffee bookshop after all.
Used to study here regularly as I live close by and spent a minimum of 15-20 lev each visit. Unfortunately they do not serve much savoury food, I suffer low blood sugar episodes so I keep wholewheat goods in my bag. Owner caught me taking a bite, i would not mind being told to put it away, that is fair. However, she became very irritated and went on a long lecture about how it’s not fair, doesn’t help pay rent, they sell food (?) etc etc. i felt insulted as the cafe was full and everyone was listening. I apologised, put it away and continued working , sometime later I went outside for 25mins to run an errand (leaving my study materials at the table with my friend) she put reserved signs on our table (there were in fact no reservations) to prompt us to leave. She noticed our disappointment and she argued, that we did not buy anything but water( we had bought brownies, coffees and water), that I left the table unoccupied for “two hours” and told us we are “welcome” any time it’s not so busy but we shouldn’t occupy a table for so long to study. There were however other tables that were also studying there for longer than us. This was the second time a scene had been made in a cafe full of people. I have promised the owner to never inconvenience her by going there again.
Do not go here if you are a foreign student, I do not believe we would’ve been treated this way if we were Bulgarian.
It's a really cozy Cafe with great vibes,it makes you feel like home,it's a good place to study with nice quality of coffee and the people working here are so friendly, also every day the have some homemade cakes that are delicious, I tried the carrot one !
One of my all-time favourites - they have a great selection of books, lovely teas and home-made cakes. A lovely owner and really nice people working there!
Cozy sofa and window seats, very friendly staff!quite place to remote working!
We saw the window and we decided to get into this wonderful place. It’s a book shop but it’s a cafe too… so you can have a nice time there having a coffee, working and enjoying the good home made cakes that the woman tender makes. Cafe and teas are delicious, but cakes are superior!! Don’t miss this place because it’s extremely comfortable and really special just downtown and very close to Vitosha Bulevard. A nice surprise in a wonderful city!
Nice concept but unfortunately not a good experience.
Went there with my daughter (7 years). She is very calm and kind with books. She was showing me a book and read the first page. (Before we got food). The woman working there came over and was very rude towards us telling to not touch the books unless we were buying them. Also to not touch any of the toys. The food was a bit pricey and nothing special. The decoration/vibe of the place is nice and they have a second floor which is nice. Went there about 2 years ago and had a good experience so sad that its not so nice anymore.
Very pleasant place, very good coffee and also the savory tortillas. I spent a few hours smart-working in a relaxing environment. Friendly staff and they speak English. I will be back for sure
