Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, nice coffee, nice looking cakes, decent wifi - slightly pricey but only in line with the street it's on.
Beautiful cafe with great music, excellent food and wonderful vibes - either for chatting or working!
Visited on a Saturday 3pm for coffee. A modern and stylish cafe at the heart of Rotterman. Indoor area is decorated in warm earth tone color with beautiful paintings and comfortable sofas in every corners. Love the wide entrances on both sides and the long hallway, making it easy for baby strollers and wheelchairs to get in. The place seems popular for working/studying as each tables have electric plugs. Also for family with small kids as high chair, big tables and diaper changing stations are available. The menu features all day dining. Perfect for all occasions. Unfortunately only got to try latte and creme brulee this time, but definitely would come back next time to try the main menu.
Great service, staff speaks English and Russian
Risotto was good & new desert was amazing too. Amazing jasmine tea, prices are higher than average, but the experience is worth it. A lot of people are working here on the laptops, so it’s a nice working brunch environment
Definitely check it out!
Absolutely lovely and really tasty place!
I guess it’s a best coffee in Tallinn❤️
Kitchen is great too
Good place to deal with some tasks on laptop (a lot of sockets around) while you drinking coffee with design coffee cup.
Great as a co-working place while prices in general are higher than usual. Coffee prices were okay. The interior is spacious and well-lit.
I happened to go there because bunch of people in Twitter recommended it. I was definitely very happy with the size of the coffee (ordered cappucino) and their choice of interior. Why I did not put 5 stars? The music was just too loud. It's a cafe, not a nightclub. That's one of the things, what I would change if I was the owner. I loved the fact, that they bring the coffee to the table and I could use my laptop and charge it. Definitely a nice spot to relax for a while and be productive also. Location is just perfect if you are in the heart of the city center. Not good for people, who want to go there with a car. You can park your car in front of Nautica for 2h free and walk there.
Atmosphere in Gallery Cafe is amazing. Really spacious cafe with a lot of tables, all very suitable for remote working. However, we had a rather bad experience with food here. I ordered scramble, which is a croissant filled with scrambled eggs, and my partner ordered oatmeat. We waited for 50 minutes for our order and our food came cold and soggy. Coffee was really good, they have both caffeinated and decaf bean options. Milkshakes were unfortunately too sweet for our taste.
Very slow service.
Online ordering service very slow and not working properly :(
It took 1h for breakfast to arrive :(
The ambience of the place is great so I'd recommend it for those looking to chill and work on a laptop or read a book. The coffee is okay, vegetarian milk options available but the place doesn't specialise in coffee in general.
Food was disappointing. Ordered 2 shakshuka's and 1 serving of eggs Benedict on potato pancakes. The benedicts were overcooked with solidified yolk around the edges. Shakshuka's were served with sunny side up eggs in tomato sauce which had a strange addition - anchovies. One serving was runny and nice, my serving was fully cooked sunny side up eggs in tomato. The dish had no cheese, no cumin, no coriander and made me wonder why is it even called a shakshuka. Kind of looks like a shakshuka but definitely doesn't taste like one.
The kitchen staff is as slow as it gets which further soured the experience. The place was barely a quarter full, I can't imagine how it could ever cater to full house with an open kitchenette.
