I had a disastrous experience at Haraz Coffee in Irving.

First, the staff seemed completely unfamiliar with their own menu. It took four different employees to enter our simple order, with zero communication about what was happening during the confusion.

The prices were outrageous - $28 for just two drinks and a small slice of cake! For those premium prices, you'd expect premium service, but unfortunately, that wasn't the case.

When one of my drinks arrived extremely bitter after just two sips, I politely requested a replacement (which any decent coffee shop would handle graciously). Instead, the staff member looked at me like I was the problem.

There was a significant language barrier, and rather than working to understand my request, she made me feel foolish for having to repeat myself multiple times in plain English.

After finally understanding my request and remaking the drink, she still got it wrong.

Bottom line: Haraz Coffee charges luxury prices but delivers subpar service.

If you're charging premium rates, customers rightfully expect premium treatment - especially when there's an issue with your product. I won't be back, and I'd recommend finding one of the many other coffee options in Irving that actually values customer satisfaction.

What's truly baffling is how they willingly lost a lifetime customer over the cost of remaking a single drink. This has to be one of the most shortsighted business decisions I've witnessed.

Think about the math: The profit margin on that bitter drink was probably a few dollars at most. By refusing to cheerfully remake it, they've now lost all future revenue I would have spent there - potentially hundreds or thousands of dollars over time, not to mention the negative word-of-mouth that will surely influence others.

Any business owner with basic understanding of customer lifetime value knows that keeping existing customers happy is far more cost-effective than acquiring new ones. The fact that Haraz Coffee would sacrifice long-term patronage to avoid remaking one drink shows a fundamental misunderstanding of business economics and customer service principles.

It's this kind of penny-wise, pound-foolish mentality that ultimately dooms small businesses. There are too many quality coffee options in Irving to tolerate this level of service, especially at premium prices.

I loved this place! It has great ambiance, the coffee is absolutely beautiful, and there's lots of plug-ins if you are working! The customer service qas wonderful. The great young lady at the front had great recommendations and I had a piece of chocolate that was so delicious!

The guys working today were honestly so rude to me.. I simply asked if they had anything gluten free and they looked at me like I was stupid.. Like, I’m sorry I can’t eat certain foods because I’m sick?? They were just really not friendly after that, couldn’t tell me the ingredients in the Dubai chocolate (I’m pretty sure it’s gluten free but they were saying it wasn’t) and then told me to “have a seat” when I was just waiting for my drinks.. Besides that, the presentation was cute and my daughter really enjoyed the cinnamon roll. I would have definitely wanted to come back but I really did NOT feel welcomed so we most likely won’t be returning. Unfortunate because this would be a cute place to get computer work done and have a coffee.

One of the best coffee places in the area. Their coffee packs a punch and the cakes are to die for! It's also nice to get served Yemeni coffee the traditional way. This place gets super busy on the weekends (understandably), but during the weekdays, it's a perfect spot for studying/working. Highly recommend!

Great drinks and desserts. Friendly staff working there.
Sometimes there's no place to sit as all of the tables get full, so gotta get order to go.

Beautiful space - people come to work and hang out. They have delicious pasteries, matcha and they have a pistachio late that’s delicious. They have wifi access and good vibes. The people are very nice as well.

The ambiance of this coffee house is worth a mention. The lighting, decor (specifically the world map display) and layout is welcoming and relaxed. Ideal place to chill out or work. There is wifi connectivity.

The menu offers a variety of coffees, teas and refreshing beverages. There are a couple of savory options and a variety of cakes & croissants. The pistachio milk cake was really good followed by the rose cake. Definitely want to try the Turkish coffee the next time.

Plenty of parking available. Friendly service from the staff, always makes it better. The coffee house was busy on a Thursday evening.

Pricing : Moderate high. Definitely not for an everyday hangout.

Will I return? : For sure!

Amazing chai and coffee and amazing customer service! wifi works really well too. Everyone should try arabic coffee. I wish I dressed more modest here but I’m still happy I came in.

Service is slow, even on weekdays. Have to wait for tables since people with laptop's will sit forever. Food is okay. Ambience is good. Definitely over hyped.

This place is a hidden gem! Probably only hidden because it’s new, but wow 🥹🤩 I’ve never been to an Arab country, but I imagine this is a little bit of what it feels like!

Luxurious, warm, kind, and for all ages of people! Saw children, elders, students, moms chattering, young couples mingling, and businessmen discoursing.

Will be back for the vibes and some amazing beverages and desserts!! Save me a seat, please!! 🙏🏻

Free wifi, outlets, and great seating with separators for students and workers!

Antonio Portugal12.11.2025

The pastries here are really delicious!! I came here for the free wifi and to get some work done on my computer, then ended up having 2 servings of the Raspberry Mosaic Cake!! Come here at your own risk!! I’m not supposed to be indulging on this much sugar and sweets, but I just couldn’t say no!! Atmosphere is also pretty low key and friendly, not too loud, so perfect to still be able to work on the go!! Great place!! Will definitely be coming back!! Have a great day guys!!

Marq Will12.11.2025
