Very grandparents’ house type of vibe. Very chill and very cozy❤️.
*They only accept cash.
I am actually quite surprised people are recommending the carrot cake! Even the staff recommended it. Carrot cake was VERY HEAVY AND GUMMY. I barely finished half of it and this is coming from a sweet-tooth person. The texture is extremely gluey.
Coffee was good, but not amazing.
The kitchen is in the middle of the cafe, so any cooking, the smell just woofs all over the place. For some people it could add to the grandma house vibe, but for me personally, it was a bit too much. That is of course not gonna be a problem if you were lucky enough to find one of the outdoor chairs :)
If you want to use your laptop, you have to sit in designated areas at the cafe (tables are clearly labeled as non-laptop-tables).
*Staff are super chill and friendly.
All in all, great vibe but a bit overhyped :)
Old living room vibes, love the chill and special, carefully selected music.
There’s a specified area for laptops, free wifi.
Variety of good vegan cakes, bagels (fake salmon is great) and soup. There is usually a quiche which was not the best in my opinion.
Hot wine and lots of drinks, great coffee!
Went in the evening on a Sunday. Very chill and relaxed. Mostly a few people or small groups sitting outside. Good smoothies. There are tables inside with no laptop signs but there seemed to be plenty where they were allowed.
Visited this unique Berlin café, exuding a laid-back, scruffy charm reminiscent of a friend's cosy hippie living room. Our female server, though seemingly busy and not overly smiley, handled things efficiently. While the tea was a bit pricey, the back tables offered a spot for laptop work (not all of them allowed laptops!). It caters more to students and Kiez locals, and although not exactly my vibe, the atmosphere certainly has its own appeal. They accept only cash.
Such a cute café, also: there’s wifi and in my experience they’re laptop-friendly :)
Love the vibes in this place. Staff are friendly and prices are cheap. You can work or hangout with your friends. wifi is available.
International environment.
Totally recommend it!
