About
Café Capital is a staple in Rio de Janeiro, having been established in the early 1940s. Initially located in a serene, historic district with cobblestone streets, it quickly became a hub for politicians, actors, poets, and journalists eager to enjoy a coffee and discuss their day. Over the years, Café Capital has undergone numerous transformations to maintain its close ties with Cariocas, the locals of Rio. Throughout these decades, Café Capital has preserved its iconic aroma and flavor while also evolving to meet the more discerning demands of today's clientele.

I see why this place is popular for the reviews. They have decaf coffee and lactose free milk options. I also ordered the low carb chocolate banana muffin and even stayed for awhile to work with wifi.
Awesome cafe.
