Came here on a Friday night an hour before closing and there was plenty of seating with maybe two or three tables occupied. Their specialty is bingsu and tayaki… I prefer warm desserts, so the tayaki was my highlight :) we ordered ube, mango passionfruit, and cheese…. The Ube was my favourite, it had just the right amount of sweetness. The Ube Matcha drink was good too! The girls working there were also helpful in giving suggestions on what to order.
I came here today with a friend to work on our Chemistry lab report in a cozy environment after school!
Atmosphere:
My friend and I did indeed get the cozy environment we were hoping for when stepping into Infinity Cafe! We were able to complete our assignments with minimal distractions and conversed easily.
I would not recommend doing work here for long hours due to the unavailability of outlets. There was a charging station near the entrance, though it costed the fee of $2.00 and was presumably only for cellphones or other mobile devices. Its position in the cafe is not ideal, as it makes it difficult to use your cellphone while its charging.
Service:
The baristas were incredibly kind and smiley; there's really nothing else to say! I especially liked how enthusiastic and how patient they were.
There was also a student discount, applying 10% off of every item in your order... if I recall correctly. This isn't a common thing I see in other cafes, so we were both surprised once we were informed!
We we waited a reasonable time to get our food as well, which pleased us.
Food:
With a bit under $20 with the student discount, we were able to order the following: a red velvet cheesecake, one nutella-filled taiyaki, and a small matcha latte.
Despite being small in appearance, the red velvet cake was a perfect snack-sized portion and passed every expectation we had appearance-wise! Though, we found the cake to be hard and the frosting was too sweet for our liking.
The nutella taiyaki took an extra 10-15 minutes to prepare, but I argue that it was worth it. The warmth and freshness really made my day and was a great sweet treat to have when working on our lab report!
I ordered the small, sweetened matcha latte, though it was quite filling for its size. I am not picky at all when it comes to matcha, though I can guarantee that it is rich in flavour even with the sweetener.
I recently visited Infinity Cafe, and it was a wonderful experience! This charming spot is tucked away in a cozy corner of town, offering a warm and welcoming vibe as soon as you step inside. The decor is beautifully modern It's a quiet place perfect for studying or working, and the prices are fair. I'll definitely be coming back.
