Kaffa Roastery

The best iced espresso drink I’ve maybe ever had. Smooth espresso with some lightly steamed milk makes for a delicious mouth feel when sipping. As the third largest roaster in Finland, and the largest micro-roaster, the baristas are used to working with fresh beans. The atmosphere is calm and quiet. It got a bit warm on a hot day, but honestly, those are far and few between in Helsinki.

This place just never disappoints!

Everyone knows when you order a double espresso, how it turns out depends on how the shot was pulled, the barista working, coffee beans they happen to use, the amount of people at the coffee shop, how the stars are aligned... No matter if you go to the same coffee shop every morning, the espresso you get is sometimes perfect, other times good and sometimes just bitter and poop. Not at Kaffa, though. Every time, consistently, the espresso is pulled to perfection. 🤗 And the options for coffee beans are always just delightful and exciting.

Excellent coffee and service. They brew using several different methods. I opted for the chemex and it was as great as expected, maybe more. The the prices are fine and the staff are very nice, attentive and very knowledgeable. One can spend hours here reading, working or just hanging out or there's also take out.

Shoutout to the Samoan barista who made the coldbrew coffee with tonic water. Cool dude. He was working on a drink made with ginger beer and coffee at the time, I'm sure he's come up with more good drinks since my visit

Great coffee, lovely atmosphere. Super fashionable place, friendly staff, there's wifi and electric sockets:)
