Not many gluten free options. I Had the Matcha Latte with a gluten free biscotti. The latte was as good as anywhere else and the only gluten free stuff they had was bread for a sandwich, a breakfast roll and the biscotti. Also I asked for my latte in a mug to stay and he gave it in a paper cup, so I had to ask twice but he fixed it quickly no problem; very friendly. They have a long counter facing the window designed for laptops and students but it seems like they gave up and lined it with plants, because I had to move a plant to make space for my laptop 💻, I like plants but maybe some hanging ones or have some bigger ones on the ground. There was also cold air blowing up from the vents below, but it might have just been where I was sitting.
🚗 All paid parking. Why business don't petition the city to have free parking is beyond me, they lose untold number of customers who don't want to deal with the parking...it's a problem when my parking costs more than my lattee. And Ide rather than money went to the business, not the city.
💲 Prices were reasonable for that part of the city with my latte and biscotti coming to about $9. But when you add in the parking cost, it comes out to about the same as the more expensive places.
Amazing cafè with great staff. Perfect place to grab a coffee and work!
Good coffee and selection of treats. I'm there often to get a break from work and connect with friends.
I’m truly stunned and don’t understand the motives of some people making wrong accusations that the business is running by racist, and only to damage the reputation of a good business. To those people who likes to twist the story, my colleague and I was at the coffee place when the homeless man walked in (I am a regular customer and it wasn’t the first time that I see homeless people eating and resting in this coffee !)
Back to the story, the homeless man walked in, goes straight to the cooler, choose his drink and then go to the front counter, the owner with a friendly tone asked him for what he likes and the man asked for a cookie. The man was searching his pockets for money to pay but the owner told him don’t worry about it, it’s on me. The man took his order, went and sat on the table by the ATM machine, he ate his cookies like any other customer, no one bothered him and no one asked him to leave… after a while the owner approached him because he wasn’t moving, us too we were concerned if the man was okay ! When the owner didn’t succeed and couldn’t get any response back from him he called the security for help. The security came and managed to wake him up . (What a relief knowing that he was only napping, my heart beats was racing from the fear of something bad happened to him !) when he tried to stand up ready to leave the security supported him up, and asked him if he's going somewhere else and offered him a ride, he didn't reply and walked out, the security stayed with him for his safety and that was it !
The owner and the staff are super friendly, caring people , and the drinks/food are so delicious. I work near by and this is the only place I go to.
