Madal Cafe is a celebrated specialty coffee house located in Budapest, first opened in 2013 as one of the pioneers of the specialty coffee scene in the region. Now spread across four locations, the cafe is dedicated to offering a high-quality coffee experience. The cafe's philosophy is deeply inspired by Sri Chinmoy, a philosopher of peace, whose childhood nickname was Madal. The aim is to create a peaceful island in the busy city where everyone can feel welcome. Since 2014, the cafe has been roasting its own coffee weekly in a micro-roastery near Budapest, marketed under the brands Beyond Within and Beanlight. Besides enjoying great coffee, Madal Cafe also conducts popular barista courses.

Das MADAL Café eignet sich hervorragend für ein leckeres Getränk. Man kann auch gut mit dem laptop hier arbeiten. Diese Filiale ist relativ klein, daher oft voll und laut.

A lovely place, good classic coffee house atmosphere, not too crowded, has a nice upstairs sitting area, big selection of specialty coffee, and reasonable prices. Only problem was the ac wasn't working and indoors was on the warmer side, but your mileage may vary.

Great coffee spot in Budapest. Very cozy vibe with and upstairs. We got a cinnamon roll and a yogurt which were very tasty. They have a bunch of sandwich, pastry, and yogurt options. wifi works really well.
