Cosy place, good coffee, a very good place to work on a laptop, however, use of laptops is restricted at certain central tables
There’s a lot of good and a little ok with Massolit - friendly staff, many books (and groovy notebooks), comfy vibes, and a feeling of home for non-mainstream. It’s also a place you can feel comfortable with a laptop, which is something I personally look for.
In terms of food and drinks - everything is passible, it’s not were I’d go for the best coffee or matcha or vegan quiche, but hey, it’s all good enough and it’s a great default option.
Amazing bookstore with great prices! You can find books as low as 250ft or less than $1 USD! They have TONS to choose from and all in English. They have fiction, mystery, Hungarian fiction, history and so on. They also have a coffee shop with lots of coffee and tea options as well as cakes and other pastries. Service is excellent. This is a wonderful place to grab a coffee, buy a book and spend a couple of hours here. Lots of people on their laptops working. wifi is great. They do have an indoor and outdoor area. Stop by and support this wonderful store!
Cosy place with lots of books, English speaking staff.
The chai latte was a disappointment.
There are signs that you can't sit with your laptop but there are loads of people doing it anyway.
Nice staff, nice environment. The only bummer is that we can't use laptops, which I totally understand, but only found out once I sat at the table.
nice place, friendly staff. there is quite nice matcha so I recommend to drink one. it looks like someone made a cafe with an old library which is a compliment! it's quiet and cozy.
not a fan of no laptop tables - don't get me wrong, I get that, but no laptop tables are maximum for 2 people and people tend to sit there alone for hours with laptop at 4 people table so it's sometimes hard to find a place for yourself.
Great cafe, space for hanging out, studying or working. Good wifi. Busy on weekends.
cozy, wifi, good coffee and small eats. Nice diversity of used books in English, you might get distracted from work because they all look interesting 🤍
Ridiculous rules. There are a few tables where you cannot sit with your laptop. It seems like they'd rather have empty tables than let people do whatever they want once they sit down. Staff should be more considerate to people. Never coming back!!
Love this place! Very cozy and great coffee and treats. Lots of people working on laptops or reading. Nice place for both!
an adorb nook in the bustling city center. the bookstore has the vibes that are in between an instagram home decor page and your grandma’s house. hip, aesthetic but with touches from the last centuries! i loved the variety of furnitures here, from wooden chairs to modern spinning ones screaming in the shade of honey mustard.
some tables at the cafe have the no laptop rule (but has wifi). the cappuccino was good and at a reasonable price.
it’s really a place where you can spend the entire afternoon reading and contemplating!
A cute, warm, cozy little bookstore and cafe. It was nice to sip on some hot cocoa in here on a cold day. There are a variety of books to read from. The wooden book shelves, tables, and chairs make it feel like you are in an old school bookstore. Mostly a bunch of students with laptops in there, but still quite quiet. The staff is friendly. The hot cocoa was okay (a bit bitter and unsweetened, but they have sugar that you can use). All in all, it was nice to see this type of bookstore still exists in the world.
Great coffee. The fastest wifi I’ve seen in Budapest. Great bagels. Very nice stuff, very good music , the place is quiet and easy to work for or sit with yourself with a book without a phone like a psycho 😂
Great place to chill or work
Best place to work, study, read or simply relax :)
Food options are cakes, cookies, coffee, tea and lemonade.
Warmest, prettiest, coolest place for a cup of coffee. Keep up the good work 😊
Brilliant cafe, very relaxed, welcoming atmosphere. Great for working in, plenty of sockets at/near tables.
Nice cozy place to work and study
Awesome chill place, good for working remotely.
Would give 5⭐ if the internet connection would be better 🙈
Great cozy place to work or have a chat with your friends, the coffee and hot chocolate are delicious and the service is very nice and friendly, you can play board games or take a look at the wide book selection.
Lovely place to read, work, drink a coffee..
