Café Malik
🇩🇪 MünsterAbout Café Malik
About
Café Malik opened its doors on March 11, 1983, founded by an association dedicated to promoting press freedom, reading culture, and media pluralism. It was named in honor of the German-Jewish poet Else Lasker-Schüler and her work "Der Malik," as well as the Malik publishing house, which offered a platform to many leftist intellectual writers in the 1920s. Café Malik continues this tradition by offering young artists the opportunity to showcase their work through rotating art exhibitions and providing guests with an extensive selection of newspapers to engage intellectually with current events.
