A bit noisy but has wifi
Such a great cafe - their coffee is one of the best in the city, even my friends commented on it, how delicious it was! The atmosphere is very cozy! And the typewriters, antique telephones, the vintage aesthetic - everything around gives you inspiration to being productive on your laptop ;)
My absolute favourite cafe. The interior is absolutely perfect for whipping out your laptop and getting work done. They have plenty of outlets near tables to plug your devices into. The coffee itself is fantastic. My go-to is a cappuccino with almond-milk. Their croissants are great too. I prefer the regular butter croissant to the almond ones as they are less sweet, but the almond croissants are just as good. Highly recommend giving this place a go if you happen to stroll by or are in the area!
pros:
- great coffee
- great atmosphere
- amazing croissants
- such a great aesthetic/ambiance inside
cons:
- price, but this is normal nowadays
overall rating: 5/5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
great wifi, good coffee, okay customer service
Good place to study, Great wifi. Drinks are delicious. Especially the Blue Lemonade and the Turmeric Latte
Big spacey cafe, fast wifi, great coffee and friendly staff! Love this place
The decor of this coffee shop is striking in the way that it employs many typewriters and allusions to the craft of writing, even in the toilets. The seats are comfy and wifi is available.
The really kind waitress recommended us the Spanish latte, which was not too sweet but packed a mellow flavour that eased our overheat on an especially sunny day in Toronto.
If I lived in this city, I know I would frequent this gem of a cafe.
Best place to work and get some food. Highly recommend the avocado toast and Nutella latte
Great place to work done. The associates are very well behaved and the environment make you really productive. Also the almond croissant and cappuccino with oat milk is awesome.
Great service and such a great space to relax, study, work, and chill.
Good coffee, friendly staff, and fantastic spot to work or hang out.
Very nice place! Food 8.5/10 drinks are great and food is not bad, good fresh ingredients. I got a latte and a brie salami sandwich which were both good. Ambiance 9/10 this place is very large but still fills up quickly with students. It is also a little dark near the back. tech 9/10 some chargers there but I'm not sure about free wifi.
I love the vibes of this place. It’s a beautifully curated space. The food is top notch. They carry baked goods from Circles and Squares (IYKYK) and have best avocado toast I’ve had yet - they drizzle it in a vegan siracha mayo that I’ve tried and failed to recreate. They have solid wifi and don’t give you drama about sitting around and working. They have plenty of tables to go around (and you’re definitely going to want that second latte). I don’t come to this neighbourhood very often, but look forward to the days when my dog is getting his groom so I can come here and chill.
There’s some street parking and a paid lot across from it.
It terms of accessibility, it’s great, especially for a cafe. The door has a button that functions and a bathroom that is fully compliant with accessibility standards (including a door that opens with the magic button).
Great place to get a good coffee and do some work!
Pandemic update: they're still serving great coffee.
Pandemic update 2: they are having considerably more expensive coffee than all nearby coffee places, so that's worth to take one star away. Unfortunately, I also don't like that their cups are leaving blue color on my hands. You should really consider better quality text printing on cups if that's something you really want, folks!
Cozy place with good coffee and tasty sandwiches. Perfect for work & study.
The atmosphere and the staff were great. It looked like a very nice spot to study. However, the hygiene of this place is jarring. While I ordered my food , I noticed flies in the bakery box, but chalked it up to just be a fluke. I would find out the hard way this in fact wasn't. Sitting down at a table, I was swarmed with fruit flies all trying desperately to get to my food. If this is what it was like for the customer front, I do not want to know what goes on in the back. Great potential, just needs a lot of work on hygiene.
Plenty of tables and power outlets for studying, wifi available. The coffee can be sour, but I just need the caffeine anyway.
Good coffee shop, large inside for place to work or chat.
Lovely place to study, read, work and chill.
Great place to study or get some work done. People who’re hanging out here seem cool too. I wish it was a little warmer :)
