Small, quiet and cozy coffee shop. Great tasty coffee selection. They also offer cocktails, wine and beer. It's really quiet here, great for working. A bunch of cozy sitting options but nothing for bigger groups. The interior is well designed and add to the coziness of the coffee shop. There's a bathroom and free wifi. If I lived in Prague, I would probably come here a lot.
Favorite coffee shop in Prague. Super cozy place with good wifi to work. Barista is great, remembers what I want every day I come in. Great coffee and croissants
Very cute interior and music, free wifi as well!
Cool, quiet place to work on laptop. Batch brew was good. There are power plugs available. Service was quite rude. wifi was slow but ok.
Was happy to find this calm little place in the otherwise quite busy and tourist-dense area.
Could enjoy coffee and a salmon croissant in peace here while charging my devices.
There are power sockets near some of the seats, free wifi but no guest WC.
Coffee is okay but it’s a very well-decorated cosy cafe! Good wifi for work but some seats in the house are not meant to be sat for long.
Great little coffee place with comfy seats, great pop culture decor, friendly staff. p.s. The force is strong with this wifi
Barista on the phone while taking my order. No paper sheets on the toilette. My sandwich was old with old salad, two slices of tomatoes, thats it. No service at the table. Slow wifi. Coffee used to be much better in here. No goodbye on the way out. But tips are much appreciated. Never more.
Great place to get work done - free wifi and outlets
One of my favourite coffee places in Prague! Staff feels like family, coffee is always great and the vibe makes it a perfect spot for meeting friends, working on your projects or just reading a book on your own. Oh, and the cakes and lemonades 😍
Great coffee, friendly service, nice interior, wifi
Pros:
One star for location, centric but in a quiet narrow street. The other star is for interior, eventhough some chairs when I tried were in my opinion low for the tables which obligates to an uncomfortable posture. Lighting is calming and the music selection and volume level allows for conversation.
Cons:
The lady working there the day of my visit I considered, as others have mentioned: rude. (I should have read the other comments pointing out just this issue and not just looking at the rating). To begin with she didn't say good morning at my arrival and she couldn't bring my order to the table despite the fact I was the only customer atm.
Not informative when I asked for a vegetarian sandwich, limiting the option to croissant with only jam, (you have to pay extra for some average jam from the store), and only one flavor. Really?
Her tone of voice is remarkably 'dry' and monotonous, almost condescending, maybe it's the Saturday's mornings mood, or if she had a bad start of the day who knows?
Product:
The lettuce in the sandwiches on display looked old despite the fact it was before 12 md. Not much variety in pastries or whatsoever. The coffee was ok. Do not expect information for coffee nerds like me regarding, country of origin, if comes from certified farms, etc.
Finally and most irritating during my visit was the constant banging against a tin can when emptying the expresso machine scoops which spoils severely the peaceful atmosphere mentioned above.
Remarks:
All and all I won't come back to this establishment nor would recommend it to my aquintances. There are just too many coffee shops in Prague (not from franchise) to choose from.
P.S. When this lady attended a Czech customer her tone of voice and attitude was much 'warmer'.
Remember these opinions are based on a one-time visit only and with one staff member.
They make very nice coffee, friendly and relaxed atmosphere and good place for working. Opens early.
