We tried different time of food at this café, and we always enjoyed the overall attention to details and quality. Very polite the young staff working. Price worth the quality.
I was excited to bring my in-laws to the cafe after seeing how great everything looks! 🤩 See, they are from Australia and are used to a magnificent service. However we didn’t get it. From the first conversation with the server Polina to the last, she wasn’t welcoming nor friendly, rather rude. No hello, no nothing. Didn’t know if there’s a table service or not So took the menus ourselves and then ordered at the counter. Approaching the server Polina she just stood there looking at us saying “yes!?” But not in a nice way.. more like “ what do you guys want from here 🫠 Before leaving grabbed a takeaway pastry and then she didn’t even say a word at all. You would think working in such a beautiful place one would appreciate it but no, dream on. That was the first cafe we visited in Estonia and I would not recommend visiting if you’re looking for a cozy and welcoming atmosphere, you won’t get it! The food looked and tasted great tho, pity the service could do with some serious work!
Very tasty desserts! Worth to visit, definitely. But service could be more welcoming: at 19:25 we have been told that we have 20 minutes to eat our cakes and drink tea (I assume, if we weren’t ok with that, waiter won’t be bothered that we have left wo order) we asked are they closing earlier today, because on door is mentioned working hours till 20:00, cafe worker said that usually they are closing at 19:50… 19:54 she said that they are closed and it’s time to leave… can’t say, that I don’t understand why she want to end workday earlier but would be nice if it will be communicated in more sufficient way, like more customer friendly.
If you have a huge sign saying you have table service, make sure you’ll actually serve the clients. After trying to get attention by going to the bar, and not even getting eye contact with any of the 3 waitresses working there, we decided to sit and wait. After 15 minutes of not getting any attention, not even hello and a menu, we just got up and left.
I used to like this place and have busted before, even in busier times. But yesterday was not busy at all during the afternoon, and even though no one seemed to care about the clientele.
I won’t be coming back
Charming unique atmosphere and great decoration. We only had coffee but it was perfect. The lady working here is doing a great job despite being on her own!
I've been charged €5.50 for strong cappuccino (€3 cappuccino itself and €2.50 for the extra shot) and found that out only at the till. Table service is not working either. Never seen such an expensive extra shot. Ridiculous
Really nice cafe. They allow you to use your computer. I have spent couple of hours working from there.
Cool looking caffe (I did not go to the restorants), they only had one ladie working and the ladie had a hard time keeping up with all the orders
Lovely rustic/industrial decor, plenty of pastries and a menu for hot food too! Coffee was delicious. Service was friendly and not too long to wait for the food to arrive (freshly made to order). Lots of seating and good wifi. Definitely recommend!
A Must see in Tallinn! Free wifi is available, just ask for password
Excellent cakes and coffee. Even their savoury menu is great, I tried their fries.
The atmosphere is cozy, the cafe has fast wifi if you need to work.
Good location too.
Highly recommend!
Wonderfull breakfast in a cosy and elegant setting. Located at the entrance of the old town. Fast, friendly and pro service. I tried: the Benedict, the croissant, the black bread... brilliant! The only small issue is the wifi - not very fast maybe on purpose - this place is well managed with attention to details.
Food is good, service also, but wifi signal is weak
