The toilet leaves much to be desired, to put it mildly. On the bright side, the place is exceptionally cozy, with intriguing art on the walls. It tends to attract a fair share of laptop users, so expect a decent crowd. The coffee, especially the latte, is a good choice.
The coffee is not great, it doesn’t taste like specialty coffee…mine at least was kind of sour, thing that only happened to me at coffee machines on the street for exemple 😅 but the back terrace is very cute, quiet and chill, perfect for studying or doing some work on the laptop (they have power outlets also). Too bad it’s a bit messy, and not very well mantained… chairs and tables dusted and all over the place, or at least this is how i found them at around 12pm..overall i would recommend coming here just for the terrace but not really the coffee unfortunately
Where You Can Buy Me With A Coffee
In every city I ever lived, finding a place that serves the perfect coffee to start my day was more important than finding the farmer’s market. I live in Bucharest now. Maybe because I believe that if you can make here, you can make it anywhere.
A coffee place is not just about that. Of course, that coffee should be amazingly fresh and natural and with a perfect body, aroma, flavour, and acidity. But it is also about the atmosphere it creates for you to enjoy that cup of coffee. And yes, about the people it attracts. And I’m happy to inform you The Coffee Factory checks all of them boxes.
The coffee menu is international – you can get freshly roasted coffee brought from Asia, Africa, and South, Latin and North America. They import their beans directly from micro-lots, cooperatives, and individual farms, grown at high altitude and with complete traceability. So, when hearing the coffee grinder, you have no excuse not to wake up and smell the coffee. It’s so good that you finally understand why behind every successful person there’s a substantial amount of good coffee.
I love to work at The Coffee Factory. It’s cozy and Zen like. I feel creative and motivated and alive. Maybe because I’m beginning to understand the saying that goes along the lines of – good ideas start with brainstorming and great ideas start with good coffee.
And the back terrace? Like an oasis in the middle of a – not desert at all – city. It’s open from early spring ‘till late autumn. In the morning, when the sun rises above the building and hits you in the face, you feel touched by the gods.
I bring my friends there. I made some there. And I have people that say hello or just nod, because we all know we are working side by side in the best factory in town – The Coffee Factory.
Some of the best coffee in town, always freshly roasted and ready to take home, good wine, cosy atmosphere, pleasant garden in the back, perfect to meet friends or do some work on a laptop
Good coffee, nice staff and big outdoor patio. Nice working space. Highly recommend
Cozy place with good coffee and friendly staff.
Nice choice to drink a coffee and do some work on the laptop.
The place could be a heaven for remote workers, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic since the terrace is spacious and with lots of shade. But, and this is unfortunate, the wifi is extremely slow (if working at all), the coffee is just so-so and the staff isn't the friendliest out there.
Really loved this coffee shop during my visit to Bucharest. They only serve coffee - no food or pastries. Every coffee I had was delicious (flat white, cortado, americano). I came back multiple times because it was an easy spot to work from as many other cafes don’t allow laptops so I’m really glad I found this spot. The wifi was fast and easy to connect to. The music was always good vibes. The staff behind the counter was friendly.
Kind of a rip off considering that the prices inside are actually 50%higher than what îs posted outside... for to go they say.. but considering that inside they use smaller reusable cups while to go .. you catch my drift. All în all, a mediocre coffee in petty cups more expensive than in the centre of Antwerp, for instance. Also the place looks quite ran down, although it has pottential.. just lack of motivation and hard working ppl, I guess. Good luck foolling other customers too.
Good coffee and nice staff with a large green back patio... The wifi doesn’t work in the back but maybe it’s better that way.
wifi doesnt work. Stay away
