Cute cafe with good coffee. Nice place to work. Omelette was very fluffy and cheesy.
Cute and cozy! A nice place to relax or work. Their coffees are excellent, as is their food!
Nice calm cafe for working, plug sockets and good wifi. Food is good but price list in the menu section is outdated - prices are higher now.
Super cute, cozy, calm, peaceful cafe. Good coffee and great scrambled eggs, not like usual ovo mexicados at other places in rio, the eggs here are actually creamy and fluffy, good orange juice too. Definitely recommend this cafe for anyone looking for some brunch or coffee, saw lots of people working on laptops too, plenty of outlets available.
I come into the café often to work/study for the day. The staff always treat me extremely well, are attentive, and receptive to feedback.
One of the staff members in particular, Gilberto, is exceptionally kind, attentive, and willing to do whatever he can to help. I am still learning Portuguese and the first day I came into the café, he was willing to switch to English just to help me out. Before finding the café, I had unfortunately had a number of bad experiences in the city with people being unpleasant towards me as an outsider, especially if I made any kind of mistakes with the language. So, having this experience here very meaningful for me.
The products are reasonably priced, they have decent wifi, and are well-located. I highly recommend! However, for other foreigners, it is worth noting that decaf' drinks and drinks with milk substitutes are not as common and I don't believe the café is able to accommodate that (although this may change so keep checking in).
wifi is ok, cold brew is ok
If you're looking to chill, work, vibe, or just bask in the ambiance of some very cute cat-related decor, this cafe is a must for you. It's a calm haven on the busy street it's on. There are two floors of cosy seating for you to choose from (if you pick the top floor, you get a bell at your table to ring if you need anything at all). The menu is both adorable and extensive with its cat-themed items. The espresso here is stellar, and I can whole-heartedly recommend the cold brew and oreo cheese cake as others have! The thing that sets this place apart though is the seriously welcoming and kind staff. <3 They're super accommodating without being overbearing, and always make me feel special! Also, they speak English. ;) So don't be afraid! Even if you're not into 'cute stuff', this cafe is still not to be missed. The diverse range of unexpected clients this cafe seems to get makes for a very energetic, creative, and productive atmosphere (you'll understand when you come here). As I'm writing this review using their very strong wifi, there's a huge adorable cat plushie resting on my lap. Come! <3
The place is very good to remote work. They have éectric plugs, wifi, coffee and food. The guy waiter is a nice guy. Anndddd its closed from the beach is extra points for that. Thanks !
