About TO LUBIĘ

About

TO LUBIĘ is a small café located in the tower of the Dominican church in Warsaw’s Old Town and has been run with constant dedication since 2003. The warm, intimate ambiance welcomes both regulars and newcomers, making everyone feel at home. The cozy and slightly compact interior invites guests to unwind and escape the hustle outside, regardless of changing trends or circumstances. Attention to detail is evident in everything, from carefully selected products—like coffee, tea, and house-made cakes—to the friendly service. Tradition also plays a vital role here, with specialties such as the Dominican mead, which is exclusive to the café. TO LUBIĘ stands out as a place where guests feel the owner’s care for high quality and a love of hospitality, making it a perfect spot for everyone seeking comfort and delicious tastes.

Food

At TO LUBIĘ, guests can enjoy a rich variety of expertly prepared food. The highlights are the homemade pastries from the café’s own bakery: every day, a fluffy cheesecake is served in various styles, along with a rich chocolate cherry brownie, meringues with whipped cream and seasonal fruit, and apples baked under a crumble topping. There is also a daily surprise cake and, on weekends, special meringue and sponge layer cakes. Beyond sweets, the café offers delicious breakfast options with warm rolls and buttery croissants. For a midday snack, guests can choose homemade tortillas filled with meat or vegetables in various flavors. TO LUBIĘ offers something tasty for every time of day, ensuring everyone finds a favorite dish.

Coffee & Drinks

The drink selection at TO LUBIĘ is both diverse and distinctive, with a strong focus on coffee. A Brazilian blend made of 100% Arabica beans is freshly roasted by a local Warsaw expert, resulting in a rich coffee with deep chocolate notes and an intense aroma. Guests can also purchase coffee beans in 1 kg or 250 g packages to take home. Beyond coffee, TO LUBIĘ offers many other drinks: traditional Dominican mead (available only here, following a centuries-old monastic recipe), several types of hot chocolate, around a dozen varieties of tea, homemade lemonades, fruit cocktails, and spritzers. The mead is a noteworthy specialty, enjoyed hot in the winter or with ice and lemon in the summer.
