I love the place, it’s very bright. Ceilings are high so it’s airy. The location is perfect , just near the Central Surry station n the mall. ppl working on laptops, have wifi. A Wide variety of tea, coffee , cheesecakes. The best part it’s open till 10 pm. But there is no parking near the place, need to figure out, but can find a pay parking somewhere not far. Hot Matcha was good, I usually ask for half sweet.

I ordered a beef philly wrap, cheesecake, and coffee around 10 a.m. on Saturday. It ended up taking about 30 minutes to get the Philly wrap. I received the cheesecake and coffee first and waited for about 20 minutes, but the wrap still wasn’t ready. So, I went to the counter to ask how much longer it would take. They told me it was delayed because the stove was preheating. However, I noticed that a woman who arrived long after me got her sandwich right away, and that’s when I realized my order had been overlooked.

There were two young female staff working, and the cafĂ© wasn’t even busy. Does it really take 30 minutes to heat up a pre-made Philly wrap? Mistakes can happen, and that’s okay, but how you handle them makes all the difference.

All I wanted was to hear something like, “I’m so sorry for the wait. It’ll be ready very soon” I really love their cheesecake and coffee, but after this unpleasant experience, I don’t want to go back again.

Really great organic coffee. The interior has lots of studying spaces with outlets at tables; I love the big windows letting in light and it makes the place feel airy and comfortable. They also have wifi and a washroom for paying customers.

This place is a joke. Ordered two six inch cheese cakes for Father’s Day. The total came to like $71 or $73 dollars. Only had $100 bill and the guy working the counter said he couldn’t take it. At first I thought it was because he didn’t have change but after he opened the till there was plenty of small bills more than enough. It’s not like we were trying to buy a $5 coffee and expecting $95 change back. Not a fan of the guy working. Cheesecake was good. 4/5.

Great coffee and service , guy working there is really friendly, remembers me and my order after only a couple visits, this is nice. Also he looks like a Bollywood film star even though I actually didn’t know he was Indian until he told me 😂. Maybe was the manager.

We love going to this coffee shop with our friends and hang out every once in a while, today we had very bad experience, my husband sneezed and his sneezes are little louder, man working behind the counter asked him to apologize for sneezing, when i asked why should he apologize this is a natural thing that he can’t control he had an attitude and said i have a nurse sitting here who got scared, we felt so insulted and disappointed, we will never go back, there was another guy working there who was nice and kind

Beautiful cafe, lovely staff, coffee was amazing. It's a great place to hang out with friends and family, and also spending time alone working or resting is great. Would definitely become a regular

Glad to see that we finally have a dessert place in Surrey Central area and bonus point they open till late. A good spot to hang out, meeting and I also saw some people work with their laptop there. I got a slice of lime cheesecake ($7,95) and it came with whip cream. It was good. My friend ordered a cup of coffee but he said it tasted weird (not sure if it’s fresh or not).

Opening a location in Surrey might not have been the best idea — not because of the concept, but because of the people hired here.

The male staff member working the 8am weekend shift was rude and showed little understanding of customer service. As a person of colour who doesn’t share the same background as many people in this area, the interaction left me feeling like I wasn’t treated with the same level of respect — especially after observing how much more warmly he interacted with customers of his own background and caucasian customers. Unfortunately, as someone who has grown up here, this kind of treatment felt expected.

No greeting upon entering an empty cafĂ©. When I asked for the vegan wrap, I was told “we don’t have it,” followed by silence — no suggestions, no courtesy. He just stared at me as if I was holding up a line of 10 people and taking forever to order. Later, when I returned my dishes, I was met with the same cold attitude.

I also remember while sitting down, at one point, bhangra music suddenly started blasting for a few seconds — I’m not sure whether it was a ringtone from one of the workers phones or coming through the speakers, but it didn’t come across as very professional or the ambience you expect at a cafe.

And the washrooms? You’re given a giant hall-pass style key, and the lights shut off if you’re in the stall for more than a couple of minutes — leaving you in complete darkness. Not exactly comfortable or accessible

Suffice to say: no thanks. I’ll stick to cafĂ©s that prioritize customer service, comfort, and accessibility.
