Great place to work! Loved the tiramisu
Great place. I've been to the one higher up yonge and it's super dead but this one is super busy. Really cute interior, good selection of board games to play, nice servers, good tasting food. I spent 3 hours here at least and it was nice so food 9.8/10 ambiance 9/10 tech 8.5/10 had chargers but not everywhere and wifi I think
TL:DR
$6 per person every two hours in order to stay here. If you wanted to stick around for 4 hours you then have to spend $12. It’s not bad at all. Atmosphere light up and music is RNB. laptops allowed. Wouldn’t recommend for studying, great for socializing. Yes to free wifi.
I came here aiming for a late night cafe as the girlfriend and I had some homework to get done late Sunday. We decided to go with this.
Atmosphere:
The atmosphere is very lit up and colourful. Lots of LED light play. Lots of happy people, including the staff. The music is soul/RNB and it feels very techy.
Price:
It is fairly reasonable when you look at the coffee drinks which are between $4-$8. If you choose to go with foods then you can look at spending way too much but that is common with places. You only need to spend $6 per two hours to use the space, so it is cheap.
Customer Service:
Staff are very friendly and welcoming. They respect one another and you can tell by the way they speak of each other when introducing the space. If co worker #1 made the desserts on display, co worker #2 would call over #1 to give him the respect and privilege of speaking on behalf of his own work. It was great to see! They were very quick to help when needed and provided me more drink modifications even long after I had already received my drink (which was initially needing of more creamer which I got help on right away).
Despite my positive experience I do not recommend this spot as a study area because (I think) for the average person it will be hard to focus. The bustle of people and open space with bright lights and colors can be really difficult to focus in. Sometimes the laughter of people (although amazing in its self!) can be disruptive at times. But to come here for a date or socially with friends would be an awesome idea. It is really uplifting.
Amazing fries and latte, so delicious and the atmosphere is perfect to work!
