About WakeCup Cafe

About

WakeCup Cafe is a place born from a love for genuine, invigorating coffee. The founders imagined it during various everyday moments, envisioning a cafe renowned not just for its coffee quality but also for its inviting atmosphere. The WakeCup Cafe on Franciszkańska Street opened on April 14, 2012, aiming to create a space conducive both to creative work and social bonding. It features comfortable armchairs, spacious tables, internet access, books, and board games. A unique aspect includes the chalkboard-painted pillar for inspiring artistic outbursts, making it especially family-friendly. The second cafe on Zjednoczenia Street opened on May 16, 2015, sharing a similar mission and offering spaces for relaxation and a creative work environment.

Food

At WakeCup Cafe, you will find both sweet and savory options. Sweet delights include exquisite meringues, classic apple pies, cheesecakes, and sophisticated seasonal cakes. For the youngest guests, there are muffins, Pischinger, and biscotti. The savory menu primarily consists of quiche, tortillas, and various versions of classic sandwiches, which can also be served warm.

Coffee & Drinks

Coffee is central to the WakeCup Cafe experience. All coffee beverages are crafted from 100% Arabica Yellow Bourbon beans from Brazil's Mata de Minas region, specifically the Fazenda Moinho farm. The beans have certifications from the Brazil Specialty Coffee Association and the EU for organic products. Coffee variations include espresso, latte, cappuccino, and creative dessert creations with caramel, chocolate, almonds, or coconut. For hot days, there is a range of iced coffees available. All coffee drinks can be prepared with lactose-free or plant-based milk such as soy or oat; decaffeinated and grain coffee is also available. Further enhancing the experience, coffees are served in authentic Polish porcelain.

Work and Laptop Friendly

WakeCup Cafe is designed to be work-friendly. It offers comfortable armchairs, large tables, and internet access. The setting is conducive to creative work, with a plethora of books and board games to enhance work breaks. Additionally, there is chalkboard paint on one of the pillars to encourage artistic expression.

I ate a quiche with mushrooms and eggs. It was veryyy delicious. The stuff is very helpful. The music is low and people are talking or working with low voice. It's perfect for working or studying. I haven't tried but their deserts also look very delicious. The prices were good. Generally 13 pln for one slice. There were sockets for charging. :))
