Żarówka Cafe

It took us a while to find this place because we didn’t realise it was hidden away up a alleyway. It’s a nice cafe with seating outside and some inside. When we arrived we stood at the counter waiting to be served. There was two members of staff there, working away but we barely got acknowledged. After waiting a few minutes feeling like a spare tool waiting there we finally got served. We were given menus and told to take a seat anywhere. There wasn’t many tables available but we found one we liked but it still had the last customers dishes on it. So we moved them over to another table which isn’t something the waitress should have done. The menu offers a good selection of hot and cold food. We both went for the bagel and they were excellent. We also got a slice of the cheesecake which was also very tasty. The food was excellent here but the customer service was what it let it down. They looked miserable. They clearly don’t enjoy their job. It wasn’t that busy but they appeared to be struggling keeping up. There were a lot of tables that hadn’t been cleared up. Clearly understaffed. It wasn’t the warmest outside but thankfully there was an outside heater which was welcomed. This place would be 5 stars if the service improved as the food alone was brilliant.

People that are working here are not friendly at all, they make you feel like you are not welcome. Latté and juice were not tasty. I would not recommend this cafe at all !!

Great coffee and friendly staff. Cafe is set back from Florianska in airy, light courtyard, with cover from rain (if necessary). Came here and had nice light breakfast (served till noon). Excellent music selection, decent wifi signal, so I had more coffee (too much, probably) and was very loath to leave. One thing to know - orders are taken at the bar, so if you sit at your table and are wondering why nobody is taking your order, that's why.

What a find!!! Lovely place, the breakfast plate was brilliant, inexpensive too. Only in Krakow 3 days but had breakfast here twice . Warm, free wifi, has toilets, food freshly prepared and superbly served

Petit café caché dans la vieille ville de Krakow très sympathique avec une cour chauffée et couverte. L’intérieur est petit avec de petites tables, mais cela ne nous a pas empêchés d'y travailler (il y a quelques prises et le wifi marche très bien). Un bon choix de thés et de cafés aussi.
